Concept Store Proposal

Jiim

This was a collaborative project created by myself as a graphic design (and an architectural design minor) student  at the time, and two architectural engineering students (Farah Hazem and Omar Lotfy), where we shared insights in both fields and created the perfect proposal to a new concept-store. We took it from creating the name, to the full branding and all the way to the architecture and interior design of the store.

Concept

We are about the unity, and we decided that using the logo as our plan, we would be able to emphasize the notion of unity that might not be seen and understood by the majority, however on the long run, will cut a long road of re-planning the layout when it is already there, and follows a certain guideline that accents the brand and that will keep it unified throughout all future branches. Jiim is a store with a futuristic vision, therefore the way we are using our logo as a plan is using the outline to build art-deco golden inspired arches and sleek columns to create floating shelves and to make the store a journey rather than a basic shop. We are emphasizing on the idea of wanting our customer to go through a journey of discovering the matrix while they go in and out the golden arches and beautifully installed items all over. We want people to be satisfied in every possible way. This is who we are.
